It is important that both the client and the therapist have a clear understanding of the massage therapy policies and procedures. Anong Traditional Thai massage holds these policies and procedures to a very high standard and therefore have published this for your understanding and convenience.
SCOPE OF PRACTICE: Therapeutic massage is purposed to be a health enhancing system that promotes body balance, function and relaxation. Therapy is used to stimulate natural restoration properties for the body in conjunction to reducing muscle tension. Licensed medical professional parameters all do not apply to massage therapist, where such therapy shall not be used to diagnose medical conditions; where necessary the therapist may refer you to another specialized professional. The total benefits of massage therapy are experienced through a maintenance system where the benefits are cumulative. Occasional appointments provide temporary symptomatic relief, although the cumulative effects of therapeutic massage can not be achieved without regularity.
APPOINTMENTS: Massage appointments are available during business hours Monday to Sunday from 10:00am - 8:00pm; to ensure appointment availability we recommend scheduling an appointment.
DEPOSIT: When scheduling an appointment a deposit is required, the deposit will be deducted from the total balance. The deposit is non refundable and will be subject to the cancellation policy.
CANCELLATION POLICY: If you are unable to make your appointment 24 hours notice is required, cancelling within 24 hours the deposit will be forfeited. You may notify us either phone, email or cancelling your online booking.
NO SHOW: Clients who fail to show up for their scheduled appointment time will not be scheduled for future appointments unless complete payment is made in advance.
LATENESS POLICY: We request that you arrive 5 minutes early for your appointment, to refrain from affecting others scheduled appointments. Arriving 5 - 10 minutes late without notice will be incurred from your scheduled booking. If you arrive 15mins or later without notice you will be considered a NO SHOW where the no show policy shall apply and your appointment maybe no longer available.
RESPECT OF BOUNDARIES: In this environment it is critically important both parties feel comfortable and appropriate professional boundaries shall be understood and respected. During therapy mandatory requirements shall be respected and complied with; any behavior disrespecting the boundaries policy can result in ceasing the session immediately where no refund will be provided. SICKNESS POLICY: We respect the health of all our staff and clients and expect the same from others. If you become unwell, please notify us as soon as possible to reschedule or cancel. Anyone showing signs of sickness when arriving service will not be provided and the deposit will be forfeited.
SANITATION AND HYGIENE POLICY: Our massage therapy operates under a strict cleaning regime ensuring a clean environment for all. Clients shall also respect this and arrive in an appropriate manner.
