Traditional Thai
Traditional Thai massage uses no oils or lotions.You will be given traditional Thai clothing to ware through out your treatment by us similar to that of
a lose track suit.
In this treatment there is constant body contact between the giver and receiver,
but rather than rubbing on muscles, the body is compressed,pulled, stretched and rocked.
The treatment generally follows designated lines("sen") in the body.
The legs and feet of the giver can be used to position the body or limbs of the recipient.
In other positions, hands fix the body, while the feet do the massaging.
This includes rhythmic pressing and stretching of the entire body.
This may include pulling fingers, toes, ears, cracking knuckles, walking on the recipient's back, and moving the recipient's body into many different positions.
This treatment starts at $35.00 for 30 minutes
is not covered by private health insurance
and like all our treatments can be extended
with out extra pricing
Deep Tissue and hot stone
This treatment will target the deeper layers of muscle and surrounding connective tissues, and can assist with a range of conditions and pains.
However, the experience can be very different to what
you might imagine when you think about massages.
It's important to know that it isn't unusual to feel a degree of discomfort
during the massage itself.
The whole point of this treatment is to break up muscle tension, adhesion's and
scar tissue that often lie in deeper musculature,so your therapist will likely
be applying a good deal of pressure.
However, you will be told at the start of the treatment by your therapist
that if the pressure is to much or not enough to let them know and they will
slowly adjust it to your desire until it becomes comfortable.
Expect to be asked to breathe deeply when the person treating you is working
on especially tense or deep areas of your muscles.
Soothing warm rocks coated in our oil are gently rubbed against you skin towards the end of this treatment.
This treatment starts at $55.00 for 30 minutes
